I love how this ring is gold plated copper. It reminded me of early Black American artifacts found after some trauma happened in an area and the people had to flee. Hearing the stories and wondering what those people were like and what they had to endure made me feel closer to the ancestors when I read that this ring was made from rhe same materials as some of the found ones. I also love that even though it is gold plated copper, it is still adjustable. I wore it for the first time at a new member presentation. It made the experience all the more special.
